Fishing in Maine

Whether you fly fish or use a casting rod, the fishing here in Northern Maine is unbeatable.  Brook trout, salmon, togue (lake trout), jack smelts, or the famous muskie are all here for the catching.  Your guide has over 25 years of experience fishing on ponds and lakes, brooks and rivers, and his love of the outdoors is contagious.  For Bran Lake Guide Service, fishing is more than a sport...it is a family past-time.

Ice Fishing in Northern Maine

It doesn't get any better than this......

Ken enjoying a peaceful afternoon                                  2005

When the snow has blanketed the ground, the sky is a cloudless azure blue and the only sound you hear is the muffled crack of the ice beneath the snow, all you need to worry about is when you'll see a flag tip up from your fishing traps.  Then you can only hope that you can pull your fish up through the hole you've drilled into the ice.

Here is Jody Jr  with a good day's catch.

We offer fully guided ice fishing packages.  Do you prefer open air fishing, or would you rather have a heated ice shack to sit in?  We can get you ready for a wonderful day of fishing no matter how you enjoy the icy outdoors.
